¡Buenos días! Happy Tuesday! ☀️
I almost went to my favorite bakery this morning, but I stopped myself and made an adult PB&J on my fancy homemade pan francés mexicano instead. I paired it with freshly ground coffee from Farm Loop Coffee in Palmer; a Costa Rican, Guatemalan, and Brazilian blend. So good! 😋☕️
I also took some time to admire my dahlias. They haven’t given up yet, and I’m not giving up on them either. 🌸💕

What do I do when I’m not baking bread? I make whatever I’m craving! Tonight, I made a French tarte Tatin aux pommes for my family, and it was delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream!

I learned a few things for next time: remember to prick the pastry, add more fruit since it cooks down quite a bit, use organic cane sugar instead of refined white sugar, and go back to pears because I prefer them a little less sweet. 🍎🍐🍨 Oh and excuse my finest fancy plates! 😂
