🍂 Chili season is here! 🌶️

We decided to spice things up a little and put one of our farm-raised beef hearts to good use. ❤️🥩

Beef heart is incredibly lean, rich, and packed with flavor—and once it’s slow-cooked into a pot of chili, you’d never guess you were eating organ meat!

Around here, we believe in using as much of the animal as possible, and finding delicious ways to turn overlooked cuts into hearty meals is part of that.

Beef heart chili for the win! Who else has cooked with beef heart before?

Three Female Maremma LGD looking for a herd to protect. These pups were born and raised on a farm with working parents. They have have had exposure to free range chickens, turkeys, rabbits, horses, goats, and cattle. There is a rehomimg fee of 🤚00. Puppies were born June 30th and have free ranged our farm. We have children the youngest being 5 and many visitors so have had quite a bit of exposure and interactions. Feel free to reach out with questions!

🐮💕 SHE’S HERE! 💕🐮

Little Baby Vesta made her grand entrance at 2:00 AM on August 30th! 🌙✨

After keeping us waiting and wondering when she was finally going to arrive, this beautiful little heifer decided the middle of the night was the perfect time to make her debut. 🥹❤️

She’s happy, healthy, and absolutely adorable! 🐄💕

But now she needs a name! 👀

HELP US NAME THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL! ⬇️
Drop your best name ideas in the comments. We want something special enough for this little midnight baby! 🌙🐮✨

🌮 Oddly Delicious… BEEF TONGUE TACOS! 🌮

Okay, hear us out before you say “NOPE!” 😂

Beef tongue might sound a little wild, but when it’s slow cooked until tender, seasoned just right, and piled into a warm tortilla… 🤤 IT. IS. SO. GOOD.

One of those cuts that reminds us why we believe in using the whole animal—and sometimes the “odd” cuts turn out to be the most delicious!

Would you try a beef tongue taco? 🌮🐄
YES or absolutely NOT?! 😂

Looks like it’s going to be another late night on the farm or should I say early morning … stay tuned! 🐄👶

Could today be the day for Vesta to calf..... Probably not these heifers like to play mind games!
