Quality Hand Crafted Knives
Here’s a little background on my store, knives and how it all started.
I’m just an ole cowgirl that has ranched, rode horses and worked all of my life. My husband was a former jockey, farrier, rancher, trainer and a Vietnam veteran. Life was good, we didn’t have alot but had everything we wanted. Nice small ranch, great horses and each other. Carroll (my husband) started having health issues and could no longer do all the work on the ranch so we downsized. I needed to find some kind of work I could do and still take care of him. So that’s how I ended up with my Ebay store. Then our lives turned upside down. My husband got worse and after months of working with the VA they finally found a large tumor and it was the big C. He passed away in 2017 after a gallant battle. But life goes on and I have to make a living so I continue to run my ebay store. I can travel some with my horses and I enjoy doing it. I get to see and handle all these beautiful knives!
About the knives. Most of the knives I sell are made by Ken Richardson knives in Missouri. They are hand crafted by 2 brothers that have worked in this business with their dad Ken Richardson who is a legend in knife making. Ken was a farrier and started making a few knives for himself and friends. The blades were so sharp and held an edge so well that everyone wanted one. He couldn’t find enough saw blades for his knives (thats what the old knives were made of) so he had several steel mills to come up with a steel that his blades are famous for. Pictures do not do these justice. These knives are not only beautiful but tough enough to be used daily. The handles are made from shed antlers coming from deer and elk. Brass guards and end caps. His knives are all over the US and other countries.
