Wanted to give everybody an update as everyone knows of course we were forced to close our restaurant January 2025 and at the time in a bid to try to stay open a wonderful help was given by a good patron of the store with helping organize a GoFundMe.

Unfortunately the mall was not operating in good faith with us as they had the new tenants sign a lease for our location in late 2024. so no matter if we raised the money or not they were never going to let it stay once again they were not operating in good faith with us.

My wife and I thank you again for the donations we received and we have initiated the refund process so all the donors should see their gift back soon!

This update is probably obvious to a lot of you now but we were unable to save Peachwave, turns out the mall management already shopped a new lease with a company and kicked us out in order to get another company in and break our 10 year lease.

Yes we owed them some money which we were repaying they used that fact and said we weren't paying them fast enough to break our 10 year lease so they could get another company in that more than likely is paying more rent than we were willing to pay that's the world in corporate landlords.

We really appreciate all the wonderful families that we had the pleasure of serving The Last 5 Years we really wish we would have had a better outcome but no matter how hard we try to fight and we even offered them the money owed they simply did not want us there anymore.

The new company started building out the location Less Than 3 weeks after they kicked us out which proves that that was a plan in motion well before they decide to kick us out because it took us 4 months to negotiate rent for that property and four more months just to start getting permits for our build out back in 2019 if this company was able to start everything before we could even negotiate to get our PeachWave ice cream machines out of the store.

At this point we were unable to save all of our expensive equipment and products and it looks like because of the loss of such a value we will be unable to reopen in the near future in a new location as we lost everything thanks to the mall management

We want to thank the community once again who tried to help us it was really appreciated the mall management just kept on pushing it down the road claiming that they were talking to the owner. A little after 10:00 a.m. this morning the sheriff's came in to take over the property the mall management never had any intention of letting us stay it seems once again thank you very much to the wonderful community that did try to help us we really truly appreciate you.

All the mall management seem to have did was Lie to the public to placate the ones that were asking questions

My wife and I want to thank all the wonderful people that came out for treats the last few days and of course the ones who couldn't make it thank you for your well wishes and we really appreciate the GoFundMe.

Over the years, I've got to know a lot of you guys. From serving your children some Froyo or great conversation with the moms and dads that would indulge a chatty shopkeeper from time to time. Every moment has meant the world to us, and we sincerely thank you for letting us know you enjoyed some of it, too ❤️

We hope this isn't the last time we lock up for the night in Fairfax 🙌 we will let you all know when we hear back from mall ownership.

We still have over 11 flavors total of frozen yogurt gelato and DOle left.

Unfortunately we're not the kind of place that we can give donations to needy people I've checked so if you're interested in some last-minute treats please feel free to come in and help us clean out these machines get rid of all these toppings and most importantly and your night with a smile and some froyo 🥰

We are having an in-person fundraiser by selling no way cups today and tomorrow, January 20th, and the 21st, it'll be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today and tomorrow. If you're unable to make it because it's very cold out we understand if it's possible to donate via our GoFundMe it would be greatly appreciated 100% of the donations will be returned by me personally if we don't reach our goal
