St. Andrews State Park has been named the No. 2 beach in the United States.

Dr. Beach, coastal scientist Dr. Stephen Leatherman of Florida International University, released his 2026 Top Ten Beaches in the U.S. list this week, and St. Andrews State Park in Panama City earned the second spot, jumping five places from No. 7 in 2025.

"This strikingly white sandy beach is great for shelling and bird watching," Dr. Leatherman said.

An incredible moment for The Lodge at Breckenridge 👏

Eleven team members were nominated in the 4th Quarter 2025 Breckenridge Tourism Office Guest Services Champions program, recognizing outstanding service across the community.

Congratulations to Rhonda Wilson, Whitney Rasmussen, Amy Fletcher, Andrea Castro, Danielle Filippelli, Delaney Batton, Mira Bell, Eric Rasmussen, Toby Sharp, Blake O’Donnell, and Chris Gallen.
