Happy National Red Rose Day!🌹
We are beyond excited to finally share this special rose with you.
The Grateful Dead’s music has touched countless hearts and carried so many people through life’s joys, challenges, and unforgettable moments. To celebrate this release, the rose was recently planted in the historic rose garden at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, marking what we believe is a truly special addition to the rose world.
We have a feeling this one is going to become a classic.
Now, we know many of you have already told us that red roses aren’t usually your first choice... but before you count this one out, give her a chance! She has an absolutely incredible fragrance, beautiful parentage, and all the qualities we look for in a truly exceptional rose.
Sometimes the roses you least expect end up becoming the ones you can’t imagine your garden without. ❤️🌹
We can’t wait to watch this one find its way into gardens across the country.

Want more blooms on your roses? 🌹

Then don’t skip this important step! Make sure to deadhead your roses after they finish blooming. Deadheading means removing the spent flower, cutting back to the first set of 5 leaflets. This encourages the plant to put its energy into producing new growth and more blooms, rather than forming rose hips.

To maximize blooms all summer long, keep your roses well watered and fertilized, and stay on top of deadheading after each flush. A few minutes of maintenance now can reward you with weeks of beautiful flowers later! ✨🌹☀️
