UPDATE:
The babies have a new home! They were able to stay together which was our preference. Thank you everyone for reaching out and sharing.

We have some babies that need a new home. The flys were bad this year and these three (2 bulls and 1 heifer) got pink eye and are sadly blind. They are otherwise very healthy but need a home where they can learn their boundaries and be safe. They are super friendly (have been bottle fed for several months) and also eat grain and hay. Once they learn their area they do very well getting around.
They are organic certified A2A2 Jersey calves. If you are interested please pm or text 641.919.8670 for more information.

Full job description
Southeast Iowa Dairy Farm is seeking applicants for help with all aspects of dairy and crop production.

Full time employment is available starting August 1st.

Approximately 90 Jersey cows are milked. An additional 130 cattle are cared for in rotational pasture grazing. Our team approach encourages participation with management in your areas of interest. A flexible schedule is available when possible. Good herdsmanship and dependability is essential. Work available includes:

Milking shifts

TMR feeding

Animal care

General farm work and maintenance

Seasonal crop production

Machinery and facility maintenance

Manure management

Prior work experience in dairy production is beneficial. Additional pay for experienced machine and farm operators. Vocational or college education is valuable. Managerial abilities and experience would be appreciated. Bonus pay is available.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00+ per hour (based on experience)
