Tolenas Winery We are a small family owned winery started by Cliff and Lisa Howard. Tolenas is focused on making fine wine from Suisun Valley California.

Our first vintage was in 2015 with our flagship Suisun Valley Red Blend.

Happy National Dog Day from Tolenas Winery!

Meet Cooper, the four-legged member of the Tolenas family.

Cooper belongs to Lisa & Cliff and the kids and of course, being a winery dog, his name has a little wine history behind it. A cooper is the craftsperson who makes the barrels our wine is aged in.

His favorite days are spent hanging out with everyone working in the vineyards, keeping an eye on things around the winery, and—his personal favorite—chasing bunnies through the vines. 🐇

And Cooper wants to remind you that Tolenas is dog friendly!

Happy National Dog Day to all the winery dogs, vineyard dogs, farm dogs, and very good dogs out there!

Today, on National Farm Worker Day, we celebrate and honor the hardworking men and women whose dedication keeps agriculture moving every day.

From sunrise to sunset, their skill, commitment, and perseverance help grow the food on our tables, care for our farms, and sustain our rural communities. We are deeply grateful for everything they do.

Thank you to all of our farm workers—today and every day. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

2026 Harvest is here and it is going to be spectacular! Earliest pick on record for us and the grapes are full of flavor and promise.
