starting the olive harvest !

Olive harvest time!

We will pick over a period of many weeks. We do this in order to pick at the perfect time for each of our many varieties we have growing around the winery.

The olives will be milled at our local
mill.

Their state of the art equipment is gentle on the fruit and produces a superior product.

Did you know that this year represents the 35th year we have been farming ! We started our farm ourselves as newlyweds, without a clue what the heck we were doing ! We didn't inherit the land or any equipment - everything we did ourselves from the ground up. That is why the "shovel" is our logo - It takes that hand on the shovel - it is worthless without the application of movement ! -

Thank you NAPA for a great season - we are out of fruit ! and because of that funky rain and hail storm, we also got cut short on tomatoes. SO, we are calling it a finished year at the markets ! Thank you for all your support of our farm and we hope you enjoyed everything. AND... in case you didn't hear - I am a grandma again - little baby Katherine Marie (Katie for everyday ! ) was born Saturday morning around 8:30 - mom and baby are doing great.
