🎩 Happy Mad Hatter Day!

Celebrated every October 6 (10/6), Mad Hatter Day gets its date from the famous “10/6” card tucked into the Mad Hatter’s hat, which originally referred to the hat’s price—10 shillings and sixpence. The unofficial holiday is all about embracing a little nonsense, silliness, creativity, and wonderfully mad fun—because sometimes it’s good to be a little bonkers! ☕🎩♠️

As I reflect on the last few days, I’m truly in awe of the way the Fairfield community came together to welcome the Symmetry attendees who traveled from near and far. ❤️

From the foot traffic filling Main Street Friday night to the Sondheim Center opening its doors on Saturday, it was incredible to witness—and even better to be a part of.

We had the opportunity to meet so many new faces who came through our doors to eat and drink, sing and dance, and simply enjoy everything Fairfield had to offer.

Weekends like this are such a great reminder of what makes our little community so special. We may be small, but we are wonderfully diverse, welcoming, and capable of coming together in a BIG way.

I’m incredibly proud of Fairfield and grateful to everyone who helped make our visitors feel at home. ❤️

The town was buzzin last night and it was amazing to watch! Sad for but thankful for those that stuck around to make the best of the situation. Here's a few of the karaoke performances last night!
