Far far top left ridgeline way out in distance, on the other side is where the vineyards are. Relationship of SF Bay and Suisun Valley are easier to see from high up downtown SF.

Albarino ventured into Suisun Valley back about 2008 and found a home. The evening influences of San Pablo bay drive very cool nights followed by usually moderate day temps. focused on the lemon lime aspect picking very early to capture it fully.

Very pleased and excited to learn I will be tied into this collective via Marth Stoumen Wines who have work with on one very esoteric white wine based on CA 1940 Chablis but done right this time. it is called Out to the Meadow. Now heavy on Chenin but blend with Trousseau Gris, Butchera (Green Hungarian) Chaseles Dore and Vermentino.

Randy Caparoso noted in his blog pose following Hella Chenin about a month ago it was the most impressive wine of the event.

Operating as a collective, they say, reduces the pressures and offers more opportunities to grow while maintaining the integrity of each brand.
