Crossroad Farm is a 40 acre vegetable farm located in Post Mills, VT. We are open from the end of April through October.

With our two farm stands, one on our farm in Post Mills & one on Rt 5 in Norwich, we sell a wide variety of veggies, specializing in greens & tomatoes, as well as strawberries & melons! For 40 years we have been practicing sustainable agriculture while growing wonderful fruits and vegetables. At our Post Mills Farm Stand we offer a unique CSA, flowers, bedding plants and a wide variety of produce,

such as greens and tomatoes, as well as strawberries, melons and sweet corn. Our new Farm Stand, in Norwich on Route 5, also offers our CSA, flowers and Post Mills produce. There you can also find locally raised meat, dairy and preserves - it's the perfect daily, one stop shop. Crossroad Farm Post Mills Info:

It’s corn time🌽!!!!! We are in the first week of harvesting corn and it has brought our crew and community so much joy😊

This variety is called “Sweetness” which comes with no surprise when you bite into an ear! Some members of the crew like to get a taste right after it’s picked, as a tasty and sweet mid-morning snack😋

Squash, zucchini, and cucumbers!!!!! Another summer staple added to our farm stand selection! It’s sad to see our strawberry harvest die down, but these veggies bring back the summer spirit💚🥒

Pictured here is one of our daily greens harvesters, Natalie! Natalie is a part of our awesome greens team, which harvests and processes all of our bagged greens: Lazy Lettuce, Mesclun, Spinach, Fancy, and more!💚

Some vegetable harvesting highlights, from this past week!📸 Lots of new produce starting to come in as the start of our season continues!

Our morning harvests include:
•Strawberries🍓
•Head lettuce and lettuce mixes🥬
•Tomatoes🍅 (cherry and big toms)
•Herbs: Cilantro, dill, curly/flat leaf parsley, mint, thyme, sage, rosemary, chives, basil, and more
•Radishes
•Red and gold beets
•Green onions
•Garlic scapes
•Kale: Red, green, and dino
•Chard
•Carrots🥕
•Salad turnips

And this is just the start! There are more veggies to come. Available to you at our Norwich and Post Mills stands😊

Our crew has been working hard and making sure that the quality of our berries is top notch! (pictured in the 3rd slide is Eamon, doing just that😉). Pick up a quart and try these delicious, sweet treats for yourself!

Last week we planted some strawberry plants for our season next year, and it got us thinking about the near future🫣🍓 (last picture is from last year!)

Fun fact: The flowers that grow on the strawberry plants eventually turn into the fruit that we all know and love! If you look in the middle of the flower, you can see the berries starting to form!🌼

Our Story

For 40 years we have been practicing sustainable agriculture while growing wonderful fruits and vegetables. At our two Farm Stands, one on our farm in Post Mills and one in Norwich, we offer a unique CSA, flowers, bedding plants and a wide variety of produce, such as greens, tomatoes, strawberries, melons and sweet corn.

In Post Mills our Spring Greenhouses open first, in mid-April. Our Farm Stand then opens up in June and remains open through October. Our Norwich Farm Stand, right on Route 5, also offers locally raised meat, dairy and preserves. In addition to our farm fresh produce, it's the perfect daily, one stop shop! This location opens up mid-May and remains open until Thanksgiving!
