It's PIG DAY
We raised up 6 pigs this year. Grateful for healthy, hardy pigs. The pigs did well in the barn stall while they were little but really enjoyed the outdoors. The "pig palace" held up to these 6 rambunctious pigs, plus the never ending rain. We wasn't sure if it would be left still standing.
The pigs had their fair share of treats too. Watermelon rind, egg shells, marshmallows, cookies, crackers and donuts. The feed was filled constantly and they loved the always access feeder. They had plenty of shade and munched on black walnuts that fell from the trees.
Bob and Sam has this dailed in....somehow they make it all look easy. Housing, Feed, water, electric fencing, loading and unloading.
I just throw treats in the pen and appreciate their worth to our family.

HUCKLEBERRY has a new home. Great news..he will be working as a Livestock Guardian Dog. The goal was to find a home and family that will set him up for success as a Livestock Guardian.
We want to thank everyone for their Interest and thank everyone who Shared our Post.

We're hoping to help find the right fit for 1½ year old HUCKLEBERRY. He is one of our previous pups. His family loves him and are heartbroken and unable to keep him safe.
HUCKLEBERRY currently does not have fenced property and enough to do.
He has great potential and is Very bonded to his family.
HUCKLEBERRY is doing well with chickens, but has no livestock.
HUCKLEBERRY is looking for a farm with fencing and some livestock to keep him busy.
HUCKLEBERRY has a rehoming fee.

Our oldest goat LILLY with one of our 1 year olds ZOEY. LILLY is 8 years old and the Herd Queen. She keeps a good eye on the herd, especially in our largest pasture. She expect them to all graze where she picks, but yet stay out of her way. She has dibs on the spool in the doe stall but will let others apon her throne if she's done with it. She's related to most of the herd in some way...ZOEY is her Great Granddaughter.
