Farewell Minnesota!

🌊 Greetings… and Farewell from Cody’s Cookie Confections 🍪😭

Since my “hot tub epiphany” on November 5th — be sure to check out that post if you haven’t yet — I’ve been dreaming about making a real difference in the world…

I’ve been dreaming about building:
my own business.
my own lifestyle.
my own brand.
and hopefully one day…
my own legacy.

And for the first time in my life…
I finally feel like that dream is becoming real.

What started out as a few label stickers handed out to customers at my job somehow became something so much bigger 😭🌊

Those little stickers have now bridged generational gaps, families, sports teams, law enforcement, and are now traveling across the country.

And even though the stickers became wildly popular…
the cookies themselves are still the true stars of the show 🍪

Every cookie I make is meant to bring comfort, joy, nostalgia, and memories all into one bite-sized morsel.

And honestly…
the flavor isn’t half bad either 😂🍪

Now it’s time for me to continue this journey:
🌊 somewhere to continue proving the concept
🌊 somewhere I can scale my business
🌊 somewhere I can physically be closer to fulfilling my Shark Tank dream
🌊 and somewhere with “Bake” in the name 🤣

🌴 Bakersfield, California 🌴

I also plan to launch my very first Kickstarter campaign before I leave Minnesota 😭🌊🍪
The goal is to help expand my business even further!! 🤩🤩
🌊 better production
🌊 bigger inventory
🌊 collectibles expansion
🌊 online growth
🌊 and bringing this whole dream to life on a much bigger scale.

For now, I’ll continue working at Taco Bell for 3 more weeks and building my online website so even when I go, you can still order online and stay a part of the experience 🌊🍪

And then on July 10th…
I move on.

To everybody who supported me, followed my journey, shared my posts, wore my stickers, bought my cookies, encouraged me, or simply believed in my dream…

Thank you 💙🌊🍪

I’ll carry all of your support, prayers, and encouragement with me into this next chapter of Cookie Cove.

“True Tales from Cookie Cove”
Wait.. my Motto works in real time??

Last night was one of those moments when I realized something kinda crazy about my business… 🤔🌊🍪

A while back I came up with the concept :

“Kids like it, adults know it, parents buy it, and collectors show it.” It was a clever little riddle I came up with that became my motto…And last… every single part of it happened naturally in ONE shift at Taco Bell 😭

👧 I gave a sticker to a family and the little girl instantly loved it and put one on her shirt.
(Kids like it…)

👨‍👩‍👧 Her parents originally only got one for her… but after hearing how they’re scratch resistant, dishwasher safe, laundry tested, and traveling across states, THEY wanted stickers too 😭🌊
(Parents buy it…)

📱 One girl came in and told me she has my sticker on her mirror 🤩 She also follows the page regularly and has been telling her college friends in the Cities about them.
(Adults know it…)

🚗 Another follower showed me she has a few of  my stickers  in their family car and showed them to me 😭
(Collectors show it…)

🌽 One of my coworkers even had a sticker displayed at the Corn Palace with other stickers and displays.

😂 And Lori — from the “Where’s my sticker?” video — came in talking about my Caillou cookies and got excited when I told her the post hit 1,600 views.

The crazy part?
None of this was planned.
None of these people knew each other.
And somehow my motto kept happening over and over naturally 😭🌊

That’s when I realized…
maybe my company really IS becoming what I hoped it could be.

Not just cookies.
Not just stickers.
But something people remember, carry around, display, share with friends, and become part of.

And honestly…
that feeling is hard to describe😭🤩

“Makes all the difference “
A customer came through drive thru tonight during a payment glitch and was worried about getting double charged 😭

They were from Austin and honestly seemed hesitant about coming back around if something went wrong.

I told them:
“If there’s an issue you can always call and talk to me.”

They still seemed pretty reserved…

…but the whole interaction instantly changed when I handed them a few Cookie Cove stickers 🌊🍪

They immediately smiled and relaxed like it made ALL the difference.

It’s honestly wild how these little beach stickers are starting to turn stressful moments into memorable ones!😊

Remember how I promised you 2k views on your “close up” post…

…we couldn’t get it 😭

Because we ended up with OVER 3,500 VIEWS instead🤯🌊🍪

That officially became my 2nd highest viewed post since starting Cookie Cove 😭

Thank you girls for participating in something that honestly feels like it’s becoming bigger than just me now 🌊🍪

The coolest part about Cookie Cove lately has been watching complete strangers become part of the story 😊

TRUE TALES FROM COOKIE COVE 😭🍪
“I’m ready for my close up!”

Last night a whole group came in wearing these cool shirts. Before I could say anything one girl yelled “Cody’s Cookie Confections!!” across the lobby 😂🌊

I handed out a few stickers to the happy duo, then A bunch of them came up for stickers! Even these two were so super excited they even asked for a picture 😊🍪

The craziest part?
One followed me right away… and the other just followed today 😭

Stuff like this honestly means a lot to me because it shows my little beach cookie universe is slowly spreading person to person 🌊

“Origin Story “
A few years ago I dug up an old sugar cookie recipe my mom used when we were kids 🍪

I thought it might be fun to bake again for the holidays 🎄

But when I decorated one and took my first bite…

I was suddenly transported back in time 🕰️

I was standing in our kitchen as a kid during Christmas break, eating an iced candy cane cookie and feeling warmth, comfort, and happiness 😭🎄🍪

The crazy part?

That feeling stayed with me until the very last bite.

That’s when something clicked.

I realized cookies could be more than just desserts.

So I started bringing cookies to coworkers, family gatherings, and holiday get-togethers. People were usually quiet while eating them, so I honestly didn’t know how good they actually were.

…but eventually I started hearing things like:

“It tastes like Christmas.”
“These remind me of my grandma’s cookies.”

That’s when I realized other people were feeling the same thing I felt.

Even during Christmas one year when I made some for the family, my sister said:
“Reminds me of mom’s cookies when we were kids.”

(Me too!! 😭🍪)

And honestly…
that’s when Cody’s Cookie Confections truly began 🌊🍪

Because at the end of the day, I’m not just trying to make cookies.

I’m trying to give people the gift of memories.

“Whatever it takes!”
This stand…
Found it on the side of the road 😊🤩

Most people probably would’ve driven right past it.
Instead, I loaded it into my car by myself looking absolutely ridiculous 😂

Why??

Because when you’re trying to build a business with limited money, constant stress, late-night work shifts, chaos at home, and uncertainty all around you…

you learn to become RESOURCEFUL.

That’s honestly been the story of Cody’s Cookie Confections so far:
creativity, persistence, and figuring things out one piece at a time no matter the odds 🌊🍪

And honestly?

I’ll do whatever it takes to make Cody’s Cookie Confections succeed.😭

Working on the custom Caillou cookie box tonight 😭🍪

One thing I’ve really been trying to focus on with Cody’s Cookie Confections is making orders feel like an EXPERIENCE instead of just putting cookies in a plain container.

So for this order I started decorating the box itself with different Caillou character images to make it feel more personal and collectible 🌊🍪

Honestly… seeing everything slowly come together like this is such a cool feeling.

Can’t wait to finish the cookies that go inside 👀🍪
