Fairport’s Future Is in Our Hands.
If you believe the Village of Fairport is heading in the wrong direction, you're not alone. Many residents and business owners have serious concerns about the direction of our community.
Should local government be about party politics, or should it be about common sense, cooperation, accountability, and doing what's best for Fairport?
There are important issues facing our village: 53 (lost count) liquor licenses and counting, growing traffic congestion, increasing development, parking, parking, parking, neighborhood concerns like zoning that encourages multifiamilies right next to your house, police staffing, mold remediation and transparent budgeting for the fire dept(why don't they get the money each homeowner pays?), self dealing, lack of performance reviews, retaliation internal and external. ....... And never seen before.... When a business owner in good standing, gets arrested, detained, frisked, personal property seized, threatened and held over a a noise ordinance, we know it's time for a leadership change, because it's clearly lacking. It has to change, or the Fairport that the world knows will soon be gone, left with fragmented pieces, slums, and the old Fairport that people loved will just be in our memories. It was a Wonderful Life in Fairport.
These issues deserve attention, answers, and accountability.
Hope.

Tracy Briggs lost the Democratic primary in a democratic challenge, but has chosen to continue her campaign for mayor as a write-in candidate. Her decision and her guts, has sparked conversations about leadership, independence, and the future of Fairport. If you care anything about our village community, you need to vote for hope, Tracy Briggs for Mayor of Fairport, FHS Class of 1981, Full Timer. AND if you want her to clean house, she will need the assistance of the new blood. Write this down... Ian Winner, Paul Keitz, and Jason Rinaudo.
We know every vote counts—but WRITE-IN voting requires knowing the process and that's what we need to make this happen.
Tracy Briggs will not appear as a printed choice for mayor on the ballot. Residents interested in voting for her will need to follow the proper write-in procedure. And yes, there will be a real life test!
Ian Winner, Paul Keitz, and Jason Rinaudo are also candidates voters can learn more about Thursday and Friday as we consider a bipartisan future direction of Village Hall.

Meet the candidates that want to right the ship. There will be a test! 🍻 1/2 Half-price drinks for everyone attending!
Fairport can have a bright future—and its residents have a voice in shaping it. It's supposed to be our community. Think big, think bipartisanship Let's do this, it's worth fighting for! Are you a village resident? Are you in?
Fairport, it’s an honor to chat with you while I’m out knocking on doors every day. It is a slow process. Our residents are so desperate to be heard, validated and listened to.
