What a great day yesterday! Thank you to everyone who popped by, tried something off our menu, sent encouragement or even just thought about us throughout the day. We loved seeing so many returning customers as well as meeting many new! We will be open today from 10-8. We hope to see you soon!

👀 We’ve been a little quiet lately… which I know is VERY unlike me! 🤣

Trust me… there’s a reason. 🥹

The last few months have been filled with construction, painting, prayers, late nights, countless trips to the hardware store, recipe testing, MORE prayers, checking things off what feels like an endless to-do list, and did I mention prayers?! 🙏🏻

But the finish line is finally starting to come into view. 🤩

We’re not quite ready to share all the details just yet… BUTTTTTT you’ll want to keep a close eye on this page over the next 1-2 weeks. 👀

Tomorrow is a big day for us!! 🎨

Tomorrow is the day. 🥰

We’ve spent months scraping, grinding, patching, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping this floor. Tomorrow, we finally get to paint it.

It’s funny how something as simple as a floor can feel like such a huge milestone, but this one does.

Every step gets us a little closer to opening our doors. Thank you for cheering us on through every setback and every victory. We can’t wait to welcome you in… but not quite yet. 😉🍋

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from all of us at Big Poppa’s Kettle Corn!

We hope your day was filled with sunshine, family, friends, and plenty of hometown fun. Today was spent serving up drinks, cheering on the parade, and making memories with our own crew—while Griff walked the parade route with his Granny, handing out popsicles and bubbles. 🇺🇸

We’re so thankful to be part of this community that knows how to come together and celebrate. Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and memory-filled Independence Day!

As much as we hate to even say this… we wanted to give everyone a heads up.

We’re keeping a very close eye on the forecast for the 3rd of July. With heat index values being forecast into the 90s and even over 100° this week, there’s a chance we may have to cancel our appearance at Skyline Event Center.

Popping kettle corn already means standing over a kettle that’s 400°+, and it can easily be 20° or more hotter under the tent when we’re working. We absolutely LOVE serving you all, but we also have to make sure we’re keeping ourselves safe so we can keep popping for years to come.

No final decision has been made yet. We’ll continue watching the forecast over the next couple of days and let everyone know as soon as we’ve made a decision.
