:::IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:::
To all our valued clients and the entire Fallbrook community.

We have had to make the very hard decision to permanently close Razor's Edge Sharpening Service. This decision has been difficult, but it is necessary as I have become too spread thin with my other two businesses and various community organizations Im involved with. It has nothing to do with the economy or any other factors.

I truly loved serving you all. Fallbrook is indeed a very special place with some of the coolest and most eclectic folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I would like to extend a special thank you to Kathie Jamie, and Mason Mathieu for hosting our drop-off/pick-up location at The Jewelry Connection for the past three years. They are definitely Fallbrook's FINEST…. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

But hey, I'm also the manager of The Fallbrook Mission Theater. I hope to see you there on the weekends sometimes…. It’s ALOTA FUN!!!

If anyone has an interest in taking over the business or purchasing the workshop equipment, please message me or send an email to [email protected]. I'd love for someone to take over if possible. There is a huge need here, especially in our sister communities as well and there's absolutely ZERO competition—a truly AWESOME business opportunity. Let’s talk… 😀😎🤙🤙🤙

Excited to say we are BACK! Our operation will resume in full effect starting tomorrow. Our cutler has healed from his surgery!

Pick up and drop off location is at The Jewelry Connection.
You can drop off during normal business hours, 10:00-5:00 Tuesday through Friday,
10:00-4:00 on Saturday!

Of course you can always send us a direct message through Facebook to arrange something too, if needed.

Happy Tuesday! We wanted to let everyone know that our operation is going to go on a very brief hold! Our cutler is undergoing surgery this week, and while it is expected his downtime will be very short, we want to give him the opportunity to fully recover before he gets back to work. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! :::PSA::: Owning and running a business is really hard...
What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people...

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore...

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store...

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails...

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work-life balance...

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All the while being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control...
Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives...
