This year the Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 2018 are coming into their own

1,280 lbs of Cabernet Sauvignon
830 lbs of Refosco
675 lbs of Syrah

Almost a ton and a half of fruit.

This was an extremely difficult growing season with late rains, humidity, and thick marine layers so we are truly blessed with the great quality and abundance of fruit that was harvested this morning.

All the grapes came in at 25% brix (sugar content) which will produce a 13.5-14.5% alcohol wine.

We didn’t have a harvest party this year due to construction and our busy schedules on the weekends when Mother Nature said the grapes needed to be harvested.
