Sawdust Alpacas LLC has a new cria (baby) on the ground. First girl of the season. Born 9/6/24, 9:30 a.m., weighing 17.6 lbs, she is now 19.4 lbs. Independent, active little girl. Meet Sawdust's Chrysanthus. Mom is Sawdust's Jessina out of Patagonia's Noelia and Sinopsis Nocturna. Sire is Sawdust's Madrone out of KCF Isidoro and KCF Peruvian Bombshell. Lots of nice curls in this fiber!

I was finally able to get a picture of our Sawdust's Tulip without her mom (Sawdust's Kali), who is never far away. Tulip was born on 9/24/23, the only girl in 2023. So she is pretty special just for that reason. But she also has great fiber and conformation. Hopefully, she will be grown enough to attend one of the fall shows this year.

Miss Abbey crossed the Rainbow Bridge today while in her favorite spot. We will miss you so much, our great protector. Snowball and Kimmie will be glad to see you again. RIP our sweet girl

We so enjoyed our time at Gold Country Gathering and CA Classic shows. It was great to see old friends, meet new people. And of course, get to show off our alpacas and compete with all.
