To all our dear friends and supporters:
My family and I have made the difficult decision to close our processing plant in the coming weeks. We will still continue to operate our farm but will stop producing our own milk and cheese. Believe it or not, it has been 10 years since we started this small project. Although there are some regrets to end it this way, we are very proud of what we have accomplished but we feel it is the best decision to make for our family at this time.
Before parting ways we would like to acknowledge and thank some important people. Our present staff who dedicate their time and hard work. THANK YOU to Jared Logan, Gerardo Duenas, Justin Eisele, Douglas Lee, and Anthony Amaral. Thank you for your understanding of this decision. And THANK YOU to our AMAZING, AMAZING community who have supported us from day one. You have always had a choice of where to spend your hard-earned dollars and you chose to spend it with us. We are forever grateful!
Our products will still be available at most locations over the next 3-4 weeks.

We need to take the time to share with you the special visitor we had this past week. Together with Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada we hosted an amazing girl named Annie and her family all the way from Las Vegas. Her wish was to have a farm experience. We hope she had as memorable time as we had.

We do not need to be reminded of what a great community we are a part of. We have had tremendous support from everyone the past few years. Now is an opportunity for us to give back! This Thursday, April 30th, we will be giving away gallons of our whole milk on our dairy farm, 3500 Trento Lane beginning, at 7:00 am. We ask that you enter in the first entrance before the sign pictured and drive up to the side of the building in a line. Our farm will be operating as normal, so we ask that no one gets out of their vehicles. We will hand it to you right through your window or set it in your trunk. Please do not ask about purchasing other products, we will not be exchanging money and would like to keep cars moving. We would like to give 2 gallons per family. Again, this will take place this Thursday, from 7-9 am only at Sand Hill Dairy. Thank you!

Yes, our farm like all other dairy farms is open today. Rain or shine cows have to be fed, milked and taken care of. For this reason we are very thankful for our dedicated employees who split time today with their families and caring for our cows. We thank you for your support and wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

We have definitely been listening to our customers about how good our chocolate milk is......but who would have known that there is actually a chocolate milk critic out there?!
This man has reviewed over 1300 chocolate milks in over 50 countries! We were one of only 24 who received a 10. What a compliment!! Click the link to check out the review and make sure to watch the you tube video at the bottom.

We now have EGGNOG!!! Our half gallons have hit the shelves just in time for the holidays. You can find Sand Hill Dairy eggnog at the same stores we sell our milk. Let us know what you think.

It's Friday! No, we are not getting ready for the weekend. It's our chocolate milk production day. The top picture is our milk mixing before pasteurization. We blend our whole milk with pure cane sugar (no corn syrup) and our specially formulated cocoa powder. It smells like hot cocoa as it is heating............. Go ahead, put your nose up to the screen, no one is watching you.

Reno/Sparks friends, we have a new location to buy our Sand Hill Dairy milk. They are all stocked up and ready to go!

Beginning 7 a.m. June 27, Sprouts Farmers Market debuts its 30,000-square-foot store at 125 Disc Drive. The first 200 customers will receive a 20 percent off coupon. There also will be grand opening deals throughout the store.

The first Sprouts in Northern Nevada, Sprouts Farmers Market, opened in September 2017 at 587 S. Meadows Parkway in South Reno.
