In the 1990s Mother’s Mountain hosted two groups of business Ukrainians. They job shadowed us learning how to make mustard but more importantly how America lives and does business.

They told us about the corruption in their country and their hopes to improve their lives, and to live free.

Here’s a note we received from Luba. Last summer, we had a hatch of Monarchs that loved our sunflowers. We’re thinking of those Ukrainians and wish each one the best in their war torn country.

We wish them peace, love, freedom. and future prosperity. It’s a sad horrible time for sure.

We had a nice drive to deliver our pepper jellies, BBQ sauce and, zesty honey mustard to Hackmatack Farm which has been family owned since the 1600s.

We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of a gallon of LOCALLY MADE honey mustard to replace the commercial mustard we had been using, Mother's Mountain, Maine's Special Home Made Taste
Mother’s Mountain has a great line of mustards and sauces, we will be incorporating more of their local products as time goes on. They are located, just down the road in Falmouth.
(I’m personally very excited to have this mustard, it’s what we used at Fernald’s in Damariscotta when I was there and the quality can’t be matched!)
