So many have asked about what’s happening at the farm. I really had been feeling that the whole farm was too much for me to manage. Jeff from Beacon Nursery approached me to rent a portion of the property for their own tree and plant nursery, and it felt like a match made in heaven. I have been able to plant Two Chairs field and the Runway, growing Dahlias and other flowers for cutting for my bouquets for Fresh Flower Friday and some vegetables for me and my family. It’s such a pleasure to see the beautiful plants that Beacon has and I’m immensely grateful that Leanna is managing it and I still get to see her every day. The energy of the place is so positive and it’s something that we feel very strongly about continuing. It’s been pure pleasure to see so many of you, tell our new story and we’re incredibly grateful that you come in. I am a busy one girl band getting plants in the ground and reconfiguring some of the beds. Hoping to have cut flowers later in June. I’ll definitely keep you posted. Thanks for the love and support in helping us to respect this beautiful land.
