DAIRY FEST is CANCELLED!

We are so disappointed, but right now the threats of severe weather are just too high. We realize this is kansas and that could change five minutes from now. But, what if it doesn't? We have vendors who make product fresh for events. We also don't have a way to keep everyone safe should weather hit while attending, nor do we want to put anyone at risk by traveling to or from the festival during severe weather.

It sucks. Believe me, we know. We have put painstaking thought into this decision, knowing that once we cancel the threats of weather will probably completely disappear because that seems to be the way things go. But it's better for vendors and guests alike to not take the chance at all.

We're already planning for Dairy Fest 2027 on Sunday, June 15th. So mark you calenders, hope for better weather, and prepare yourself for a good time.

Tomorrow I'll be back at the Farm & Art Market Downtown in Salina. And I'm bringing a new flavor of Cajeta with me - Smoky Valley Fire! Starts off tasting like Classic Amber, then is quickly chased by the heat of habanero pepper. It's FIRE!! Reminder: Family Goat Yoga has been cancelled for today due to wet, sloppy yoga studio and a lot of muddy goats. We will reschedule for (hopefully) a drier day.

Today's Goat Yoga session is canceled. Sad to say, but it is chilly and way too soggy, with more rain in the forecast this evening. I've sent emails and refunds are on the way. However, if you were planning on joining us, we encourage you to re-register for one of our future scheduled dates. Hope to see you soon!

And, here's the cut. It's not exactly how I envisioned. Then again, it never is. The important thing is that it's crazy and fun, and lives up to it's name. I'm pretty confident it does just that.
