Another bulk propane tank refinished today!

We started by thoroughly washing and prepping the tank, followed by a coat of Sherwin-Williams Kem Kromik® industrial primer and finished it with a Sherwin-Williams Industrial Enamel topcoat.

Proper prep, primer, and the right topcoat make all the difference when you’re looking for a finish that’s made to last outdoors.

Another big transformation completed! 👨‍🎨

This building was still wearing its yellow paint from the 1970s–80s, and it was definitely ready for an update.

We gave it a completely new look with modern gray walls and gray trim, then finished off the roof with a fresh aluminum roof coating to brighten it up and add another layer of protection.

It’s amazing what the right coatings and a new color combination can do for an older farm building. From dated and weathered to clean, modern, and protected for years to come.

Another 5 grain bins sealed this week! 🌾

These bins had been spray foamed years ago, and the customer said the foam started failing not long after it was applied.

Before we arrived, they removed all of the old spray foam, giving us a nice clean surface to work with. Because of where the previous foam had been applied, we brought our seal higher than we normally would to make sure the exposed galvanized metal was properly protected.

Our hot rubber sealing system does an excellent job keeping moisture out and creating a tough, long-lasting seal around the base of your grain bins.

We took this building from an old, faded blue/green and gave it a completely new look with modern light gray and black trim. What a difference a color change can make!

Hot Rubber vs. White Elastomeric:

What’s the difference at your grain bin foundation?

The bin-to-concrete joint is one of the most important areas to seal. MSW hot-rubber grain bin sealant is designed to create a thick, flexible barrier at that transition—helping seal out moisture while keeping aeration air inside the bin.

White elastomeric products are liquid-applied coatings that can look good initially, but they rely on adhesion to the concrete. When a coating cracks or peels, moisture can travel behind it and reach the steel-to-concrete joint.

When a white elastomeric coating fails, trapped moisture can remain against the steel at the bottom of the bin. Over time, that hidden moisture exposure can lead to corrosion and rust at the bin base—damage that may not be visible until it has become a much bigger and more expensive problem.

These grain bins had previously been sealed with spray foam, but over time the foam had begun cracking, deteriorating, and pulling apart, leaving areas vulnerable to water getting back in.

Instead of removing all of the existing foam, we applied our Hot Rubber Bin Sealing System directly over the problem areas.

Our hot rubber system:

✔ Seals cracks and failing areas in the existing foam
✔ Creates a thick, durable protective surface over the remaining foam
✔ Helps prevent further deterioration from weather and sunlight
✔ Seals vulnerable areas where water can enter
✔ Extends the life of the existing bin seal

The result is a tough, flexible waterproof barrier that protects the existing foam while giving the bin a renewed seal.

If the spray foam around your grain bins is cracking, shrinking, or starting to fail, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to start over.

A custom color makes all the difference! 🎨

For this project, the customer wanted these tanks to match the other tanks already in his yard. We had a custom gray color matched, and the finished product came out great!

After proper surface preparation, we applied the new coating to give the tanks a clean, uniform appearance while also helping protect the steel from North Dakota weather.

Another project completed! 🌾🎨

We recently finished painting these three hopper bins in Langdon, ND, and they came out looking great!

**This building came out looking like new!** 🔴🏡
