Meet Jake Lachowitzer, our new Head Winemaker! A Fargo native who started at Bear Creek in 2016, Jake is back after 7 vintages in Sonoma County, bringing a hands-off, vineyard-first approach to North Dakota and Minnesota hybrids. Welcome home, Jake! 🍷

Meet Jake and join us for a hands on Winemaking 101 & blending class where you won’t just learn about w**emaking—you’ll get to become the w**emaker!

We’ll take you through a slideshow exploring the fundamentals of how w**e is made, from grape to glass, and explore how w**emakers think about things like aroma, acidity, tannin, body, balance, and structure. No w**emaking experience is necessary. Just bring your palette and your curiosity.
