Join local artist Anne Kaese for a fun and relaxed 1.5-hour wine glass painting class in The LOFT. Anne will guide you through the process of creating your own unique hand-painted wine glass—no artistic experience necessary!

Your $45 ticket includes:
A 1.5-hour guided wine glass painting class
A wine glass to paint and take home
All painting supplies
A glass of Bear Creek wine
Even better, this creative evening supports a great cause! Anne will be donating proceeds from the class to the Red River Art Institute.

Step behind the scenes and discover the story of Fargo’s hidden vineyard gem at Bear Creek Winery. Behind the Vines: A Guided Tour of Bear Creek Winery invites guests to explore the heart of one of the Red River Valley’s original wineries, where innovation, family tradition, and Northern-grown wine come together.

During this immersive experience, guests will enjoy a guided walk through Bear Creek’s vineyard and property while learning how cold-climate grapes are cultivated and transformed into handcrafted wines uniquely suited to North Dakota’s landscape. From experimental grape varieties to the winemaking process itself, attendees will gain an inside look at the passion and research that has shaped Bear Creek since 2003.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our August “Simply Read” Book Club! We had an amazing attendance and fantastic conversation!

Join us for our next meeting of "Simply Read" Bear Creek Book Club: I See You've Called in Dead by John Kenney on Wednesday, September 9th at 6PM in the Loft! Read the book, grab some wine, and join us! 🍷

This months featured book is “I See You’ve Called in Dead” by John Kenney.
Bud Stanley is an obituary writer who is afraid to live. Yes, his wife recently left him for a “far more interesting” man. Yes, he goes on a particularly awful blind date with a woman who brings her ex. And yes, he has too many glasses of Scotch one night and proceeds to pen and publish his own obituary. The newspaper wants to fire him. But now the company’s system has him listed as dead. And the company can’t fire a dead person. The ensuing fallout forces him to realize that life may be actually worth living.

Feel free to bring your copy of the book if you have one — it may be helpful to refer back to favorite moments, quotes, or characters during discussion. We’ll kick things off with a handful of guided questions and see where the conversation takes us from there.
