Averie makes Coconut Margaritas from Practical Magic.

recipe - per person
1 cup full of ice (use whatever cup you're serving in)
1.5 oz of Senorita Mexicana Blanco Tequila
1 oz Real Coconut
1 oz lime juice (about 1 lime)
1/4 oz Codigo Agave Nectar

make up to 5 servings in a single blender.

Start "Practical Magic" at 11:12PM if you want to have your margaritas at midnight.

Imagine if BANANA BREAD was a OLD FASHIONED. 🍌 🥃

FALL IS HERE! And this is a cozy drink to enjoy as the leaves gently fall and the nights turn crisp. Like making banana bread, this recipe takes a little work.

But is totally worth it.

For brown sugar simple syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup packed brown sugar

For the cocktail:
2 ounces 2XO Bourbon
½ ounce Sathaney banana liqueur
1 teaspoon brown sugar simple syrup + more if you like a sweeter cocktail
1 dash of chocolate bitters
1 dash of black walnut bitters

Instructions
If making syrup, add the water and brown sugar to a sauce pan and heat on medium until the sugar has melted. Set aside to cool.
Add ice to a rocks glass.
Add Bourbon, banana liqueur, and brown sugar syrup. Add up to ½ ounce syrup if desired.
Finish with the black walnut and chocolate bitters and stir.
Garnish with chocolate shavings and a banana chip (optional).

THE CINNAMON APPLE MARGARITA

2oz of LALO Tequila
1 oz of fresh apple c***r.
2/3oz lime juice.
2/3oz agave syrup.
Dash of cinnamon.

Why is OKTOBERFEST in September?

Short answer: the weather. Oktoberfest used to be in... well... October. In 1810, the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese of Sachsen-Hildburghausen. And celebrations were held from Oct. 12th through the 17th. Turns out, the Germans liked drinking b**r and having a festival, so they repeated it in 1811. The annual Oktoberfest was moved to September because of the warmer weather and milder nights.

Should we move Oktoberfest in North Dakota? Take advantage of the good-weather months?

Maybe.... July?
