We have 25 white leg horns hens available. They are supposed to lay 335 large/xl eggs a year. They are currently between 9 and 10 weeks old. Located in FARIBAULT.

First 5 pictures are s*xed hens Chocolate, olive, Easter and white layers.  Screenshots from the hatchery with their descriptions are the last pictures. They hatched the first week in June. 70 or so available. I’m not making any guarantees of which chicken lays which colored egg. That would be up to you to look into and decide.  I don’t 100% know so I don’t want to tell you it’s one thing and have it turn out to be another. 

Pictures six through nine are UNSEXED chickens that hatched here I believe they are around 12 weeks old.

They are a mix of mostly BC maran and barred rock hens, with a half BC maran/lavender rooster and
either a Whiting True Blue or Whiting True Green rooster. They are UNSEXED!!  You can make an educated guess on if it’s a hen or a rooster. some of them I just don’t know what I think so i don’t want say either way and be wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Posting these in all the Minnesota chicken groups I’m in. Some allow prices and some don’t so just to be safe I will put prices in the comments. At this time, the price on the younger chicks is FIRM!! We did purchase these chicks and paid quite a bit for shipping, bought feed, kept them alive and paid for heating lamps so we would like to get our investment back out of them. The older group I am willing to make a deal on the whole group.

We placed our order for these chicks in the winter with the intention of swapping them out for our older hens once they had started to lay. We have decided to drastically scale back on our chickens and no longer sell eggs. That’s why we are selling these chicks.

Again, I am not a chicken expert. I am not guaranteeing breed or s*x on any of them. Hatcherys aren’t always 100% right so later one of the s*xed chicks could turn out to not be a hen.

Sooooooo many lady’s need a new coop. We have 70 or so chicks that are 1 month old and off the heat. I posted screen shots of there description. They are all high production large to xl layers.

We have 30 or so 9-11 week old chickens we hatched here. Selling them as uns*xed because some are obviously roosters and at this point an educated guess can be made about their s*x, but
It is possible one you think is a lady could turn out not to be later 🤷🏻‍♀️. Most are black copper Maran. The moms were pure and the dad is half BCM/ half lavender. (He is pictured in the middle of one of the photos). Then some of them had barred rock, cream leg bar, and one barnyard mix mother with a blue or green egg colored rooster. These chickens are pictured in the chicken tractor.

We also have 1-3 year old laying hens. To many breeds to list, so it’s better if you just message me what your looking for. I posted a pic of our eggs.

We are located in Faribault. $10 a chicken. If you take 10 you can have them for $80. Would rather have them go In large batches then just 2 or 3 chickens at a time.

It’s a very exciting day here at Buckthorn Acres. The chicks are starting to hatch!!!! As long as all goes well, we will have 40 or so chicks available every weekend.  Barnyard mix straight run.
