Yesterday we loaded up some more pigs to go in for butchering; the first 100% Corey Farms grown pigs (from birth to the end). It’s been a long road of learning but we’re so grateful to our friends and family for all of your support! ❤️

We also added 27 chicks to our flock so now we have about 60 something chickens I think? 🤣🤪 Some of these are Easter Eggers which have the blue/green eggs! 😍 The kids were pretty excited to hold them… Except Charlotte 🤣 She started getting kind of scared when they came too close 🤣

We have one whole OR two half hogs available that go in 3/9/26 for butchering.

These hogs will be the first batch of hogs born and raised on our property (previous ones we stated out with when they were a few months old)! 🐷🐖🐽

I forgot to get a picture of the hogs in the trailer this year but it just goes with 2025.

Corey Farms has had a year to say the least. Between moving farms, starting farrowing our own hogs and multiple set backs (well, electric to the barn, draught) we’ve managed by the grace of God.

Hopefully this is the last year of us buying hogs (although easier and better planned) but we will periodically have hogs throughout the year. Hopefully that’ll help with some people needing pork sooner than December like most years.

We would like to thank God first of all helping us through it all. Then family, friends, and of course the customers. Here’s to 2025! See you all in 2026!

We have 1 1/2 or 3 halves available for hogs going in for butchering in about a week. Processing time takes about 3-4 weeks.
