These girls sent me home with lots of yummy eggs. I used 3 dozen to make egg salad for my dad before I left and still brought home 19 dozen. Reach out if you want some. Bring a carton and they are $4 a dozen.

It is with great sadness that I tell everyone my step dad is selling his chickens. We will try to finish out the year at the Farmers Branch market with the remaining chickens that he has. I appreciate all the love and support that everyone has given us. We couldn’t of done it without our dedicated egg lovers.

Today has been a tough day at The Hesse Farm. We have had several chickens die from heat stroke and have 3 that are hanging on in the cabin. We love our chickens and want other people to make sure they are changing water several times a day for your out door pets. Make sure they have shade as well. We have huge fans for the new gals in the barn as well. Their production is down but that is expected from the stress.

Life at the farm is beautiful! The chickens love their new digs. Speaking of digs, Tiny and his pack have dug huge holes around the posts. Thanks for the extra work today!
