Trustee Spotlight: Lane Osswald 🌱❤️

Lane is a farmer, agricultural advisor, and dedicated community leader based in Eldorado, Preble County, Ohio. Alongside his family, he operates a farm producing corn, soybeans, wheat, and cover crops, while also offering custom farming services and seed sales. He is a licensed commercial pesticide applicator and experienced crop advisor.

Leadership & Agricultural Advocacy at Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF)
Served for over a decade as a Trustee representing District 18 (Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery, and Preble counties), including roles as OFBF Treasurer and member of the Policy Development Committee.

Foundation & Industry Governance
Formerly served as Treasurer of the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation and on the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Soybean Association.

Local & Regional Leadership
Served six years as Chair of the Preble County Planning Commission and as a member of the OSU Extension Preble County Advisory Committee.

Community Service
A active volunteer in his local community, Osswald has supported the Preble County Pork Festival for decades and held leadership roles within his local United Methodist Church at both local and district levels. He resides in Preble County with his wife, Bambi, and their four children.
