Y’all ready for some weird farm science? 😂

🫛 Peas can basically send TEXT MESSAGES underground! 🤯

Pea roots release chemical signals into the soil that attract certain helpful bacteria. Those bacteria team up with the plant and help make nitrogen available for it to use.

So while we’re up here picking peas… them little suckers are underground networking and making business deals. 😂😂

Hell, they may have better communication skills than some people we know. 👀🤣

🤯 WEIRD FARM FACT OF THE DAY:

Ever wonder why some cucumbers grow crooked instead of straight? 🥒

Poor pollination can cause the fruit to develop unevenly—one side grows better than the other, and next thing you know that cucumber is out there shaped like it’s trying to make a left turn. 🤣🤣

Around here we don’t judge.
