As far as flower farms goes, I’m pretty small. The majority of my business is in sunflowers, but it’s hard to resist growing a few other flowers for mixed bouquets to sell, and for myself! I love this time of year- when the seeds I started what feels like forever ago start to bloom- I will never not be amazed that I grew all these flowers from tiny seeds!

The stand will be stocked with baked goods this Friday! The plan is to have everything out by 9am, but with the way I sleep it will likely be earlier. Come by and grab something yummy!

The secret ingredient in the Molasses Cream Pie filling is (good!) white chocolate! I think the sweetness pairs perfectly with the all of the warm spices in the molasses cookies.

This time of year is kind of crazy for me- school isn’t out yet and the garden is requiring a lot of work, planting out, watering, weeding. I’m trying to squeeze it all in between getting home from work and making dinner. Today was a result of wanting to get the hose set up quickly to water the 1000+ sunflower seeds that just went in the ground, but then seeing some weeds I should quickly pull, as well as bad planning on footwear, or should I say lack of footwear 😆
