Flaky, buttery phyllo pastry wrapped around a spiced beef filling, then baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
For the meat filling
• 2 Tablespoon olive oil
• 1 large onion
• 1 ½ Pound Beef
• 2 cups Shredded Colby cheese
• ½ Tablespoon Cinnamon
• ½ Tablespoon 7 spices
• ½ Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
• ½ Tablespoon Vegeta
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 1/4 tsp salt
EGG WASH:
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup Milk
• ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
PASTRY:
• 16 oz. package of frozen phyllo dough, thawed in its package
• White sesame seeds (optional)
