Very few photos were taken by us this week as we were incredibly busy with campaigning, working, competing, and socializing with our AJSA family. This week always makes me reflect and note just how blessed we are to be growing up and being around the industry that we are.
A few highlights:
🐅 Anna was elected as an At-Large AJSA Trustee as well as placing 18th overall in the intermediate division
🐊 All three kids made it to the showmanship finals, Anna and Josie cracked the top 20 intermediates
🐆 All three kids placed in the top 20 in sales talk
🦍 Jack and the limitless heifer were Reserve Division 1
🐻 All of the other heifers + the bull were placed in the top end of their classes
Thank you to the entire AJSA crew for always putting on a phenomenal national, the IJSA parents & kids, Lacey Kershaw Schick for getting the only actual phone photo of the whole week, and our family for supporting us and our passion.
Today we turned & burned and were here for day 1 of the good ole Knox County Fair. Excited for another great couple of days exhibiting our cattle.
