Good evening friends and lovely customers! I know have not been active on my page and I do have good reasons! This year has been tough on me. As many of you know from talking with me at the market I have several back issues from my Army service. In January I had my first back surgery consisting of left si joint fusion and 6 weeks later in March I had the right side fused as well. Initially I was healing very well and feeling great but this week I have taken a major step back. I am struggling to walk to much without being in intense pain and also when transitioning between positions. Luckily with xrays taken my surgical hardware is still in tact and in the proper position. The reason I am letting you all know this is because with the pain I am in and my restrictions I have decided I will not be making an appearance at the park hills farmers market this season. I am very sad to have to do this but I need to focus on my health and healing properly. If any of you wonderful people need or want any of my products I still have soaps and lotions available that can be picked up from our farm! Thank you all for supporting my family and I in our small homestead!

Lutz Family Farm is set up at Bollinger Farms today for there opening day! Come out and see me and all the other vendors! There is a great selection to start your Christmas shopping by shopping small!!! I also brought my scents so you can choose your own lotion scents here and I have extra soaps as well!!!

Good Morning Everyone! I took advantage of being a forloughed government worker this week with the shut down. I have been able to spend the last 2 days doing things I really enjoy! I have baked lots of goodies for the Park Hills Farmers Market and the farmington collosium's vender event on Sunday! I have plenty of goodies to go around this weekend so please come visit!

Good morning we have 2 and a half pigs going to butcher sept 30th. A half usually runs close to $300 and a whole is usually about $600 after butchering. Our pigs are Berkshire and duruc cross! If you have any questions feel free to message me!

Good Morning Everyone! We have 1 full blank angus calf available going to butcher in 2 weeks. She will be between 900 to 1000 lbs on the hoof. The price will be 3.50 per lb hanging weight to us, and then you will pay the butcher for processing fees. The fees are .65 per lb off the hanging weight. Hanging weight is roughly 65% of the hoof weight. We usually do not have any available so this is your golden opportunity to get some while you can! These are grass and grain fed beef and grain finished for 3 months to get good marbeling throughout the meat. Please message me if you would like to get a half or a whole and we can get you put down!

This past weekend sure was busy for me but I really enjoyed getting back into making soap and stocking up for the year! I still have several soaps I need to make but needed to render a batch of lard before I could get into it! Here's a picture of whatI accomplished in 2 days! 180 bars of soap made, set, cut and curing! I might have a slight addiction!!! 🤔

I had a very productive day today with making new soaps and trying to get stocked back up. Of course these won't be ready for a few weeks but some of these are just too pretty not to share!!! 😍 I made Sea Salt and Lily my personal favorite, Meyer Lemon, Orange Peel, Cotton Candy, Kentucky Bourbon and a soap specifically made for the outdoors/camping to help keep the bugs away (citronella, peppermint, cedarwood and lemongrass) it is a very strong scent but if you are like me and get eaten alive by mosquitos you will probably be happy it is as strong as it is! These soaps will be ready in May!!!
