What “leftover night” looks like here…flowers I didn’t end up arranging until now from my cutting buckets.

Thank you all SO much for the support this weekend! This was the stand’s best weekend since opening on August 9th, and we have enjoyed getting such positive feedback about the flowers and honey. We have loved both for years in our own home, so it’s been extra rewarding sharing them with others and making connections with people in our community.

A special thank you to Stands by Me App - Find Local Farm & Roadside Stands for coming out today (in the rain!) to check out our stand. You will notice a sticker with a QR code on the green cash box. The support from the other farm stands in my neighborhood has been such a bright spot in this flower journey. A self-taught hobby that started four years ago has given me so much happiness, and I never expected that this little flower stand would be something I would end up doing on my late summer and fall weekends. The fact that we have three little stands in our neighborhood is such an unexpected, happy perk of living in this community. The fresh quality, the closeness, and the local support is a total vibe. Updates from our nature preserve, currently located on my dining room table amidst flower stand things: We have a chrysalis! It happened within minutes so we missed the transition. Another caterpillar is joining its friend on the mesh ceiling and three remain down with fresh milkweed leaves. A chrysalis stage lasts 8-12 days, so we are hopeful for a Labor Day weekend reveal! 🐛💚

Each arrangement will be filled with a colorful mix of what’s freshly blooming in the garden and tucked into a gift-ready carrier.

Pick ups for the morning of your Meet the Teacher event (September 2nd and 3rd, with preschool dates available later in September).
