Fresh weaned brindle heifer calf. C- and color testing completed. Started on halter training and Socializing. Will go to events with hundreds of people and in photo sessions until she finds a new home. Id guess she'd mature mini, not micro

Will mature to large mini/small mid. High belt heifer. Has been with a bull entire time. Have not preg checked. Prefers to be left alone , will come in for feed but not from your hand. Not halter broke.

I've been begging tillie to release the hostage for about a week and told her if she didn't pop by Friday night she had to cross her hooves till monday.... she kinda listened.... just 6 hours before I got home!

Ryan and aaden got her whole work up done! I said heck I'll make cattlemen out of you yet and I got a "good luck"!

After a short gender identity crisis miss Tae got her proper tag! We'll save Dax for another babe!

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Columbus Junction Ag Program to the farm for a hands-on look at the many different sides of agriculture and agritourism.
We shared how agritourism can take many forms and discussed the additional training and education I’ve completed to better care for our livestock on-site — including AI breeding, pregnancy checking, vaccinations, and other herd management practices that help reduce the need for hauling animals to the vet whenever possible. We also talked about the differences between cow-calf operations, backgrounding, and agritourism, while trying to keep the conversation engaging and real-world focused.
The group toured the farm, learned about our daily operations, and of course had the opportunity to feed the animals. They were an incredibly respectful, attentive, and enjoyable group to host, and we appreciated the chance to share our passion for agriculture with them!
Farming and agritourism are far from easy — and they certainly aren’t inexpensive. Life on the farm keeps us constantly moving! During the visit, I shared how my husband and I both work full-time jobs while also owning and operating our own business, managing the farm and agritourism events, supporting our children in their many activities, and helping my family’s farm whenever we can.
Agriculture is truly a lifestyle built on hard work, dedication, and long days, but it’s something we’re incredibly passionate about and proud to share with others.
