My Grandfather Joe Christesson inspired a love for horses especially the American paint Horse. So we have carried on the blood lines that he carried on from his grandfather my Great Great Grandfather. It started with a paint stallion that was born in 1900 that was bread to two mare when he was a three year and then he proceeded to get his way into the grain barn and colic and die. Yet the foals ou
t of the two mares started the history with the blood line of the horses in our family. Through the years my Poppy (Joe) continued to work to improve the horses adding running quarter horses sometimes appendix bread (with thoroughbred) into the blood lines but still adding in great cattle horses as well like Joe Reed and Leo, King. When I took over the breeding I worked hard to find quality stallions with good minds, conformation, athletic ability and color with the help of my Veterinarian Joe Quintana. We have continued the old blood lines and have added new trying to improve with every new Foal! We hope you come to Love our horses as much as we do!!! If you know or have seen the EGO brand it is one that Poppy told me had come from Scottland and meant "MINE" thus EGO Acres and the EGO brand and freeze brand. We take ownership in our horses.
