I came home to visit my mom, and when she saw my shirt, her words meant everything to me. 🥹❤️

Without my mom, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. My Shí’masaní, Rita Mae Lee, and her beautiful Ganado Red rug designs have inspired my life in more ways than I can explain. Their teachings, strength, and prayers have carried me through some of my darkest moments and ultimately helped save my life.

Today, I carry my ancestors with me in everything I do. Their prayers continue to guide me, and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity, time, and energy to make a difference while I’m here. ❤️🙌🏽

Ahe’hee’ to my mother, my grandmother, and all those who came before me. Your prayers are not in vain. 🥹✨
