I hope everyone had a great spring break!

I am so sorry I have been MIA, this entire month has been absolutely bonkers. Im trying to get back on track this week!!

Anyways, momma hen hatched these 3 babies out on Saturday. Yall, let me tell you she is the world's greatest mama!

Now my older hens, their being naughty and eating their food and drinking their water. So I think im going to have to separate them and mama until the chicks are a little older.

I am fixing to start hatching chicks for spring/summer and as soon as they are ready I will let you guys know! In the meantime I still have eggs and hatching eggs. If you're wanting grow outs you'll have to wait another couple weeks before i have space available for them. But I am taking chick orders as well!!

So as I add to my flock, I am trying to choose carefully to ensure that I am getting the best colors to provide the best varieties of eggs 🥚

Well with that being said my black copper marans are hatching as we speak!! I am so excited.

My welsumers are about 9 weeks old so I'm hoping by June ish we'll start seeing the pullet lay. So i may start offering them potentially in July.

I wanted to show you guys out set up now that its looking beautiful!!

Our chicks moved to a grow out pen for about a week or so. I may move them in with the flock on Saturday.

Our youngest chicks got moved to the outdoor pen! Woo hoo! They were stinky. 🤣

And some updated pics of our current laying flock!

Cannot forget our ducks! Hopefully now that' it's warming up I'll start getting duck eggs. 😁

Oh my gosh you guys, I have been so out of it this week!!

We should be good to resume egg sales this week, I am getting a beautiful 13 a day. For some reason they had a dry spell and I was only getting like 6-9 a day and the week I needed eggs was when I was getting lots of sales! So I have some on a wait list and I will get go you guys as I get eggs.

Sunday I hatched 7 beautiful little chicks!!

I ended up with one Crested Cream Legbar out of them all.

Chicks will be available mid March if you're interested 💚💙🩵

You guys! Look at how beautiful these eggs are. 🥹 that one blue cream legbar egg is showing out today!
