good day to be a brewer. beautiful weather outside, no work besides drinking and creating drink...

racked our 1st mead today to secondary... much stronger than we anticipated, it will be coming in at 12.9% (it is a traditional sweet mead, well, with addition of 1 oz of saaz hops and 2 lbs of blackberries)

making our first irish red ale, she will be called O'Keefe Irish Red. erin go bragh!

Had our 1st annual memorial day IPA brew off. Now we wait patiently for maturation...

Have two early summer efforts on deck Sawyer Brown Ale and Copernican Saison...

Back in business: February 19th. Brewing what was supposed to be our Oktoberfest beer before life got in the way. Gotta come up with a new name for it now...

Horse Shoe Brew tomorrow. Nice little hoppy ale with lemon zest. Of course we will play horse shoes as the wort hangs in tun and boils. DTB is brewing!

Double Batch of La Verdad fermenting, The Perfect Leger fermeting. Croccodile tongue came out as it was imagined. Summertime is here... Brewing!

Gahopagos II hitting the bottles today. Coming in with a ABV around 8.5% and IBU around 120! It is going to make its name proud... Make this beer keep evolving as it goes all grain on the next batch. Rapture Rye right behind it into bottles tonight. School out next week, things are ideal, DTB on the rise!
