Another Missouri State Fair is officially in the books! ❤️🤍💙

While DDCC 194H MAGNUS 509N may not have brought home the win this year, we couldn’t be prouder of him or of the time, work, and dedication that went into getting him to the show ring. In the cattle business, it isn’t always about the banner—it’s about believing in what you’re building and being proud to stand behind it.

And whew… Missouri definitely brought the HEAT this year! ☀️🥵 It was a scorcher, but thanks to the helping hands, encouragement, and good company of our family and friends, we made it through. We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who pitched in, checked on us, helped with the cattle, or simply stopped by to visit.

Every trip to the ring is another opportunity to learn, grow, and keep moving forward. We’re proud of Magnus, proud of our program, and excited about what the years ahead hold for Day Dream Cattle Company.

Here’s to another State Fair in the books and many more memories, miles, and trips to the show ring ahead! 🐮❤️

Until next year, Missouri State Fair!

Yesterday marked something that we’ve never seen before at WMC, A complete herd dispersion after 100 years in the making, and it was one heck of a day viewing cattle that just made you smile.
Somehow stars aligned, and we were able to bring home our very own Reva and even though it was 11 PM when we pulled back into the home place and unloaded her in the dark, she still WOWED us this morning.
The ride home yesterday was interesting discussing how we wanted to incorporate this line of exceptional breeding as a cornerstone to our next steps.
