Steep Hill Farm will NOT BE OPEN in 2024. We have decided to spend more time with the grandchildren and relax for the summer. Although we will miss you all and the fun we had, it is time for us to move on to another chapter in our lives. We wish you a great summer in Maine!

In our little Maine workshop, we filled 2023 with personal connections through the classic game of cribbage, and sent these handcrafted items all across the globe. We are truly grateful for the support from East Coast to West Coast, and all the states in between. We take pride in our hard working team of women, handcrafting unique & personalized wooden gifts that will last a lifetime.

With some holiday rest, we are ready to hit 2024 with hustle & happiness, like getting that once in a lifetime 29 hand.

Steep Hill Farm will be open for the last day of picking this season from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 20. The picking will still be excellent with lots of berries to be had, and the weather looks like a great summer day to experience blueberry picking in Maine. You know you need to do it.

Steep Hill Farm will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M Saturday, August 19 for easy, delicious blueberry picking. Come get your winter’s stash of blueberries now and be glad you did in the cold winter months! Or get your last fresh, juicy blueberries to eat and savor. They are delicious!

Due to the rainy weather forecast, we will be closed Friday, August 18. We will open at 8:00 A.M. Saturday and stay open until 5:00 P.M and repeat Sunday. We will close for the season on Sunday at 5:00 P.M. Plan to join us on the farm this weekend for some great end- of -season blueberry picking!

Steep Hill Farm will continue to have blueberry picking from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M on Thursday, August 17. The picking continues to be excellent with fast easy picking. But the blueberries won’t last forever. We will stay open every day (weather permitting) through Sunday, August 20. Then we will shut down for the season. So enjoy the last days of blueberry picking by coming to the farm and getting what you want. Don’t say ” I shoulda picked them when they were ripe then, at Steep Hill Farm.”

We will be open for picking blueberries Wednesday, August 16 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The picking continues to be excellent. The berries are plump and sweet and very easy to pick. If you haven’t picked yet, come now, as they won’t last forever! You’ll be glad you did!
