We are hosting a Pumpkin Fest the 18th of October. We've done this in the past for scouts and their families. We cook burgers, hotdogs, possibly some chili and there will be snacks, sodas and water.
This event is completely free but if you'd like to donate feel free to. In no way is this event to take away from local businesses Such as Betty Ann's, Eckert's , Pumpkin Blossom Hill or Braeutigam Orchards that are fantastic places with good people and products.
Our event is free for scouts and their families. This event is also for parents with children who may not have the resources to allow their children to pick whatever they like.
This event is also here for parents with children with disabilities that may have limitations to participate in social events, in those cases please contact me and if need a time for that situation will be available.
In addition to a vast array of pumpkins we have chickens and rabbits that might let you catch them. We also have a small orchard and it's possible some apples might be left to pick. There will be a small tractor show of my own equipment on display.
We will have a couple of canopies up and a few tables and chairs but it's best to bring chairs and tables if you can. Please RSVP so we know to have enough foods.

Anyone interested in Persimmon trees? These are fruiting and are forsale. I'm near Fayetteville IL in St Clair County. Grow your own deer food. Trees will be dug with a tree spade, approximately 32 inches across the top of the root ball. Can be loaded in to a truck or trailer, can be planted and handed by hand but if you have a tractor that helps. Message me.

It is almost tree planting time! I have Red Sunset Maple, Autumn Blaze Maple, Celebration Maple, Sun Valley Maple, Bur Oak, Persimmon, Sycamore, Fruitless Sweetgum, Red buds, Bald Cypress, Dawn Redwood, Fruiting Pears, Flowering Pears, and others. These are large trees.
