What are you most excited to grow this year? I’m stoked to try broom corn! It’s not something we will eat, but hopefully the bees can forage its pollen. I first noticed this glorious plant at a while back. Ever since then I’ve wanted to try.

The Undertaker bees have been working hard these past few days. Ironically, the more dead bees you see outside a hive in harsh winter periods, the more healthy and well their population probably is. Holding our breath till we break 50 and can do some hive checks.

We’re now taking reservations for Spring 2026 Nucleus Colonies. Each Nuc will consist of 5 frames of bees total: 3 frames of brood, 2 frames of food & resources. We raise all of our queens locally off our best stock, adapted to Northwest Arkansas seasonality. Queens will be mated in 2026 and can be marked to make her easier to find. Pickup will be mid May to early June pending appropriate weather for queen mating.

Message us to make your reservation or ask any questions.
