Clean Eats and Mountain Botanicals Prosuct Development:

Anyone have any mullein, usnea, cleavers, burdock growing or dandelions, lilacs, violets, wisterias, honeysuckle, dogwoods still blooming that I may come and harvest for some botanical concoctions? I’m happy to share in the finished products. I am working on recipes for clean, healing tinctures, salves, deconcoctions, infused oils, teas, and low carb/keto fermented seltzers, jams/jellies, syrups and more.

Clean Eats version of Blackberry Cobbler Yogurt for to satisfy the sweet tooth tonight.

Semi-housemade, organic Spiced Vanilla Cinnamon Greek Yogurt topped with organic blackberries and Housemade Cinnamon Pecan Granola satisfy like a big bowl of blackberry cobbler with ice cream. My bowl packs in
30 g of clean, grassfed protein
10 g of fat, mostly Omega 3
7 g net carbs to keep insulin from spiking
and is loaded with all the health bennies of Greek yogurt, Madagascar vanilla extract, turmeric, ginger, Ceylon & Saigon cinnamon, black pepper, shiitake, maitake, red reishi, chaga, cordyceps, lions mane and stevia.

Today was a rough one, mentally and emotionally. I supported my mental and physical health by fasting all day with alkaline water and my electrolyte blend and drinking Brain Brew mid-afternoon. I’m just now fully breaking my fast with another quick & delicious, home-cooked, nutrient-dense, Clean Eats meal. Farm fresh eggs; sautéed organic kale, onions, red peppers, sundried tomatoes and garlic in Irish butter and avocado oil; and squashbrowns—ALL seasoned with my organic, housemade Lagniappe Cajun Seasoning, non-fortified nutritional yeast and Redmond’s real salt. I meant to add some housemade kimchi, but was so hungry I forgot.

CHOOSING to nurture and take care of myself well by supporting my overall health and wellness, rather than abandoning myself, for immediate gratification through “comfort foods,” i.e., addictive, self-destructive patterns, is a HUGE WIN!! CHOOSING to fuel my body and heal my brain by eating intuitively, instead of starving myself or binging on garbage, pseudo food, out of anxiety & depression, is the consistent self-love, through discipline, I deserve! Learning to accept and love myself, and extend myself grace, mercy and love, even when I screw up or have a challenging day, is all I’ve ever needed! I CHOOSE ME, even when no one else does!
