WELL, WELL, WELL… LOOK WHO JUST RODE INTO TOWN.

We’ve got TWO new sweet outlaws hanging around the bakery case, and y’all, they are TROUBLE.

THE APPLE OUTLAW
A sourdough danish with a creamy cream cheese center, topped with sweet apples and pecans. Buttery, tangy, sweet, and just fancy enough to make you forget you’re supposed to share.

🎃 THE PUMPKIN RUSTLER
A rich pumpkin bar piled high with chocolate chips, pecans, brown sugar, and gooey marshmallow fluff.

Yep. I went there.

And because every good outlaw needs an accomplice, both of these are mighty happy sitting next to a glass of Blue Mule wine. 🍷

So come saddle up at the tasting room, grab yourself a sweet treat and a glass of wine, and stay awhile.

But I wouldn’t dilly-dally…

These two are WANTED, and I have a feeling they’re gonna disappear faster than a cowboy when somebody mentions chores.

Y’all… I went to Santa Fe, New Mexico last week and apparently decided I needed to personally support the entire green chili economy. 🤭

I’m pretty sure I nearly bought the town OUT.

And naturally, I hauled my spicy little treasure back to Texas, because those green chilies have WORK TO DO!

First up: GREEN CHILI CHEDDAR SOURDOUGH LOAVES 🌶️🧀🍞
They’re in the tasting room THIS WEEK, and honey… cheese + New Mexico green chili + sourdough is a mighty fine combination.

But I didn’t stop at green chili. Nope. I also came home with a stash of Mexican Chocolate. 🍫🔥

And I have PLANS for it.

Cookies. Pastries. Desserts. Possibly things I haven’t even dreamed up yet. Basically, if I can put Mexican chocolate in it, there’s a good chance I’m gonna try.

This week’s first victim…
🍪 MEXICAN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES! 🍪

So come grab a Green Chili Cheddar loaf and some Mexican Chocolate Chip Cookies while you can, because when my Santa Fe stash is gone… IT’S GONE.

And judging by my current baking enthusiasm, that stash doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in a Texas August.🔥

Well… if you didn’t make it to the Round Top 4th of July Parade, you sure missed a good time! ❤️🤍💙🍷

We had an absolute BLAST celebrating 250 years of America, and let me tell ya… our float was packed with some of our favorite people! We are beyond blessed to have such amazing friends and family who are always up for a little fun (and don’t mind riding through town waving like celebrities 😂).

A huge shout-out to our fabulous Winery Gals (you know who you are) and the Fayette County Community Theatre for hopping on the Blue Mule float and bringing all the smiles, laughs, and patriotic spirit. Y’all helped make it one heck of a parade!

And can we talk about the crowd that showed up for Mike, Annie & Glen afterward?! Y’ALL. You understood the assignment! The music was rocking, the wine was pouring, the slushies were keeping everyone cool, and the tasting room was full of happy faces all afternoon.

Days like this remind us just how lucky we are to call this community home. Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, danced, sang along, and celebrated with us. Our hearts (and maybe our voices) are a little worn out today, but they’re so incredibly full.

Now… who’s ready to do it all again next year?
