Following a tour this Spring, the Full Circle Food Pantry applied and received an $18,400 grant from the Methodist Foundation of Arkansas. We are grateful for these funds, which will allow us to continue expanding the reach of our pantry and improving the quality of our inventory! This grant will support the pantry in regularly providing fresh produce kits from Spring Creek Food Hub, hosting additional Pantry Farmers Markets, and stocking our 17 mini pantries across campus.

Our four summer interns have had a productive summer at the Full Circle Food Pantry. We’re ready for and looking forward to another great semester serving our clients!

We are grateful to have received $8,848.22 from Arvest’s Million Meals campaign this summer. The campaign focused on supporting food pantries during the summer months, when resources are often limited. At Full Circle Food Pantry, this funding has helped sustain daily operations, stock pantry inventory, and support our network of 17 mini-pantries across campus.

This summer, pantry leaders attended the inaugural SEC Food Pantries and Basic Needs Summit hosted by the University of South Carolina. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to build connections, share ideas, and discuss common challenges with our fellow campus pantries. We have come back to the U of A with a new vision for growth for the Full Circle Food Pantry. Thank you so much to USC for hosting, and to Mizzou, Ole Miss, and LSU pantries for fostering such important discussions throughout the Summit!
