The fall born bull calves we featured in a previous post were loaded this morning, after a quick stop at Niobrara Red Angus, NE to unload some heifers they’ll continue on to WY to be prepped for a future Ludvigson Stock Farms Bull Sale. Contact us to discuss their heifer mates we have available on the farm or to just talk about some Red cows!

NEW DONOR ADDITION!
In the inaugural JLMorris Farms production sale we selected the $19,000 high seller; JLM Abigrace 636D 4110. She’s a 10/24 daughter of the rare and highly proven PIE Quarterback out of the $100,000 famed C-Bar Abigrace 636D owned by Berwald’s and Seth Leachman. Famous full sibs to 4110 include donors working for Berwald’s, Hansine and Feddes Red Angus, the popular PIE Commander, PIE 0105; dam of the $400,000 PIE Hollywood, and the high selling bull of a past Feddes Red Angus bull sale to name a few. 4110’s dam is a flush mate sister to the proven female maker 9 Mile Franchise 6305. Topping it off, she’s a 4th generation daughter of the multimillion dollar producer, Brown Ms Abigrace L7730! 4110 is due this fall and will enter our donor program soon afterwards.

The recently weaned fall born bulls calves were worked yesterday, receiving their EID tags as well as treated for flies and CVI’s written in preparation for shipment to WY soon to be prepped for future Ludvigson Stock Farms Bull Sales. They include sons of High Voltage 1803J, Prime Day 3540L, HXC Allegiance, Nextgen 2807K, Berwald Confident, PIE Herdsman and more. Including a maternal brother to the $50,000 high selling red bull of the ‘26 LSF “All American” Bull Sale, First Class 4736M! Donor dams represented include; Lakina D6 along with her daughters 912K and 0L24, Mattie G9052, Minola H0358 along with her daughters 905L and 917L, VETO Jolene 106F and VETO Blockanna 931F to name a few.

Needless to say yesterday was a wet one here! It hasn’t changed much today either, hopefully we won’t need this moisture as the summer goes on.

The fall borns are weaned and settling in well! A select group of the bulls will be leaving to go to WY soon to be prepped for a future Ludvigson bull sale. Others will either be retained for local consignments, sold privately or used as a VVF walking herd bull.
The heifers are just as impressive and will be sorted through for replacements, consignments or sold locally as well. Reach out to us with inquiries about any of the bulls or heifers. AI, ET, SimAngus and natural service sired bulls and females are available.

We recently pictured some of our walking herd bulls along with a very special donor. They include; our signature female, Feddes Lakina D6, her $50,000 grandson, LSF VVF First Class 4763M who was the high selling red bull of the ‘26 LSF “All American” Bull Sale, WY. Other herd bulls include the proven, VETO Justified, a Bieber Forefront son of our Flo Marie 1810 donor. Another 1810 son, VETO Maximizer, he’s one of the oldest sons of Berwald Confident 2044. Lastly, our newest addition to the natural service lineup, LSF Ponderosa 5014N, an Identity 0295H son with impressive data that ranks in the top 1% for GM, WW, YW, MB, CW and REA. We’re picturing more donors this week, stay tuned for those pictures coming soon!

We enjoyed having Mr. Scott and Mrs. Pam Samuel of Samuel Farms, MS to the farm yesterday to tour the cows and bred heifers on their way for a short trip to NC. They already have a daughter of our Mattie G9052 donor and want to add another one. Mr. Scott had a tough time picking out which one. The Lakina D6 daughters by Nextgen 2807K hit him hard in the process. Needless to say they have a lot to discuss during their windshield time to determine which ones they’ll add to their herd. Whichever ones they decide on won’t be a wrong decision.
As always it was great to see and visit with them and we look forward to hearing their choices!

We recently delivered LSF VVF First Class 4736M, to one of his new homes at Whitley Red Angus, AL, he’ll be sharing natural service duties with J Bar S Farms, MS.
4736M was the high selling red bull of the recent Ludvigson “All American” Bull Sale, WY as well as a flush mate to the high selling female of the ‘25 “Grass Time” Sale, AL. Their 111 MPPA donor dam, VETO Lakina 912K, is a daughter of our signature female Feddes Lakina D6 out of the $190,000 Complete 7000E. 912K is a rising star in our donor lineup with both of these resulting from her first aspiration!
