Originating from the Pacific War in 1879, our peruvian troops ran out of provisions and were in disarray to feed many starving men due to the ongoing turbulent events.

The wives of the towns had a penniless budget, but chicken, potatoes, and our golden pepper were three ingredients that were available at the time.

And so, hundreds of years later, we bring this rustic dish with an elevated tangy taste to you! As Lima’s most popular dish, it is an honor for you to taste.
